Interactive app “Check if you can become a policeman”

This year, on February 4-6th, Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre LITEXPO hosted an international learning, knowledge and career planning exhibition “STUDIES 2016”, which was organized for the sixteenth time. This exhibition annually attracts thousands of young people from all over Lithuania, and is dedicated to present the studying opportunities in Lithuania and abroad, the most needed professions and specialties, as well as career and business prospects.

Lithuanian Police, that participates in this event every year, this time decided to stand out from other exhibitors by presenting their school’s study programs in an innovative and unconventional way. During the exhibition at the Lithuanian police booth, it was possible to see modern interactive screen, where each person interested in policeman profession was able to test themselves by performing the test. The test was designed to identify motivation, interests and personal properties, suitable for becoming a successful Lithuanian policeman.

According to Police General Deputy Donatas Malaškevičiaus, they had spent some time thinking about how to present the survey for young people interested in the profession of a policeman in an innovative and non-traditional way.

“During this year’s exhibition, the police will surprise you with a playful interactive test, which will check whether working in the police is your calling” said Police General Deputy Donatas Malaškevičius before the exhibition.

Meanwhile, the director of interactive business solutions provider UAB Altum Retail Ernestas  Kuprinskis said that various interactive  solutions during  exhibitions and other events are rapidly gaining popularity in Lithuania.

“We noticed that more and more companies are interested in interactive solutions and possible innovative and interesting ways to attract visitors to exhibitions,” said UAB Altum Retail director Ernestas Kuprinskas.

All young people, who are interested in policeman profession and who filled in a questionnaire, participated in a contest and the winners were awarded with unique and exclusively for this exhibition created T-shirts, bags and special police souvenirs. The contest winners were announced on Lithuanian Police’s Facebook page.
